What do you need help with?
Cancelations & Refunds
Can I cancel an order I just placed?
If the order has not been shipped by the time you request a cancellation (business hours apply), we will be able to cancel it and your refund will be processed within the next week (it may take 5-10 business days to be reflected in your bank account). However, if your order has already been shipped, a cancellation is not possible, and no refund applies.
If you placed an order for online products/services, we must receive your cancellation request within the next 24 hours after the purchase is made. Requests received after the 24-hour timeframe will not proceed.
* Please note that a 4% administrative fee will be deducted from any total/partial refund.
I had my seminar participation on hold and now, I have decided not to take it anymore. Can you give me a refund?
In this case, we can give you a credit to be used towards any product/service from any of our different branches.

Will you continue to offer exam preparation once the ICCRC evolves into the CICC?
YES!
We constantly update, review and improve our materials, and lessons as immigration and the exam itself evolve.
How often do you update your materials?
All our materials are updated according to the 90-day cut-off period established by the CICC before every exam. Therefore, in one year, we release different editions, each one relevant to a specific exam.
Is the Premium/Full Package offered in French?
The Premium and Full Packages are only offered in English. However, we can substitute your seminar participation by the Seminar recording in French, and the Seminar Exam Simulation and Test Day Data Booklet by their French version.
Unfortunately, the rest of the materials are only available in English.

The laws keep changing, but I want to start studying soon. When should I order the materials?
I purchased the books in the past and would like the most recent edition. What should I do?
It is recommended for you to purchase our materials within 2.5 months of the exam. As such, if you order our material and then decide to take the exam later, you can update yourself through our Facebook page and blog. If you would like to re-order the material (not recommended), you will receive the same discounts that are currently available on our shop page.
* Please consider that only the content touched by a change in immigration law will be modified. Unless necessary, we do not replace questions from one edition to another.

Exam Simulations
What is the difference between the three simulations you offer?
Each exam simulation has 135 different questions covering most immigration topics. Each question comes with a source/explanation of the given answer which you will find within your account.
Is there any difference between the Exam Simulation booklets and the Online Exam Simulations?
No, the content is the same. They are only two different formats.
I have paid for the online simulations. When will I be able to access them?
You will receive immediate access after placing your order*. This access can be found within your account and it will remain active until the exam date you typed in when placing your order without the possibility of an extension.

I am unsure about one of the answers. Can I contact you to ask for an explanation?
We generally like to let our clients try to find the answers themselves since that is where you really learn and dig deep into the information. If you really get stuck, consult the references provided within your account to get an explanation.

Exclusive Lessons
How long will I have access to the Exclusive Lessons for?
You will have access to them for 6 months starting on the date of your purchase.
While going through the lessons, there is a mention about X lesson but I cannot find it within My Space. Where can I locate this?
If the lesson you are looking for is not within your account or as part of our Free Lessons, then such lesson has not yet been released.
Whenever a lesson is added, it will automatically appear on our website or within your exclusive content (if applicable).

Online Access
I purchased your online products, but I do not know how to access. Could you help me?
If you placed an order including any online content, you will be able to access it by logging in to your account, and under My Space, you will find the section My Content which will display a menu with the different online products you have access to.

If I buy the Online Access to the video of the Seminar, when will my access begin and when will it be finished?
The recording of the seminar will only be available within the week after the live seminar for that specific round has passed. You can take a look to the upcoming live seminar calendar to have a better idea of when you will have access to such video.
Your access will remain active until the exam date you typed in when placing your order without the possibility of an extension.
If I buy the Online Exam Simulations, when will my access begin and when will it be finished?
Your access will start automatically after placing your order*and it will remain active until the exam date you typed in when placing your order without the possibility of an extension.

I have decided to defer my exam to a later date. Is it possible to have my access to the online content extended?

Seminar
What is the Preparation Seminar about?
The seminar is a 10-hour session (divided in two days) where you will learn techniques to help you pass your exam that you will practice and implement during a 3-hour exam simulation. We focus on teaching you how to put into practice the knowledge/study you have already done from the moment you started your immigration program.
We will not go over the different immigration categories since you already know this, and your time is valuable. Instead, we will give you tools to better prepare and succeed your exam.
What if I order the booklets and later I decide to take the seminar?
Not a problem, you can choose the option Seminar without Test Day Booklet which includes a discount since you already have this book. During the seminar, we will provide you with a specially designed 135-Question Exam Simulation that is only available for seminar attendees, so feel free to order all 4 books (Test Day Data Booklet + Exam Simulations #1, 2 and 3) and decide later if you want to take our seminar.
Kindly note that if you take the seminar and then order any of our booklets, those books will be at a regular price which is why most people prefer to order the Premium Package from the beginning.
Can I defer my seminar participation to a later session?
Yes, we can change your seminar participation to a later date or put it on hold for up to 6 months. In the last case, you need to contact us at least three weeks before the session you want to join (seminar calendar) to reserve your spot.

Shipping
How long does shipping take?
We ship on Monday and Wednesday morning using Xpress Post (by Canada Post), and it regularly takes 5-10 business days to reach you (after being shipped) depending on the area (within Canada) you are in. Your order will be processed, and you will receive a separate email by Canada Post with the tracking number once your order is shipped. Please note that processing times may vary depending on the season and volume of orders received by our shipping department.
For international shipping, it usually takes 3-4 weeks to reach you and there may be a surcharge.
When a shipping day falls on a holiday, your order will be sent the following business day.
Please be advised that due to the update period, orders received around 3 months before every exam may be delayed for 3-4 weeks to be processed and shipped. This way, we make sure you receive the most current edition of our material.
* If your package cannot reach you due to a mistake with the address you have provided, you will need to re-pay the associated shipping fees for us to re-send your package and any other fee associated with the return of the package.
Can I use a different courier service other than Canada Post?
Yes. However, you will need to arrange this service by yourself.
You just need to contact us at info@exampreparation.ca before placing your order and we will give you a coupon code to discount the original shipping fee along with the details of your package and the address where you can send your courier to pick it up.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. After placing your order, we will contact you to give you the shipping options you have and the surcharge to be paid.
I have not received my order. Can you help me?
You can track your order with the number you received in a separate email by Canada Post. Check both your inbox and spam folder to retrieve such email.

The CICC Exam
Can I bring the Test Day Data Booklet into my exam?
No. You will be taking a closed-book exam and you are not allowed to consult any materials during your test. However, the Test Day Data Booklet continues to be a key tool for your preparation and success.
What is the average passing grade for the CICC exam?
The CICC uses a method that allocates a certain amount of points to questions based on their difficulty, so there is no way of knowing exactly which score you would need. However, if you score 80% on our exam simulations, you are likely ready for the actual CICC exam.
